  • After that, we will insert a thin needle into the trigger point and continue needling the area with repeated insertions and retractions without completely withdrawing the needle from your muscle or skin.
  • You will feel that your muscle twitches or cramps and we will continue needling the area in multiple directions until your muscle is relaxed or cramping or twitching is stopped.
  • We will then inject the area with a local anesthetic with or without corticosteroid or Botulinum toxin.
  • Once the medication is injected, we will remove the needle.
  • We will send you home shortly after the procedure, as it involves no downtime.
